Description
Apple mint is lovely variety of mint that has a slight scent and taste of apples. This variety of mint tends to be milder than common mint, and has attractive, soft, roundish leaves.
It can be used as a culinary herb, similarly to standard mint, and has also traditionally been used for various medicinal purposes such as digestion, headaches, and as an antiseptic. Additionally, it can be used for skin and hair care (e.g., try a DIY hair rinse or facial mist).
Please note that this plant spreads fairly easily so it may be best grown in a pot if you have a smaller garden.
The plant is grown in organic potting mix and is spray-free.
